Tijuana Mike

Tijuana Mike

In the early ’70s Hesh One’s parents went to Tijuana, Baja California, México and purchased a velvet painting of a mouse who kinda looks like a famous mouse’s Mexican cousin.

Tijuana Mike is purple-tinged, white-faced, dressed differently (lavender shirt and button-less shorts), and has different paws than other, more famous vermin. Also, this one is engaging in specifically adult human behavior which rodents don’t typically engage in.

The painting has always been up in my home over the years. As I walked by one day I thought, “wouldn’t it be funny if Tijuana Mike was a stoner?”.

Of course it would! So 50yo Tijuana Mike is blazing a fatty having a new life in 2021.
